The job role was to re-build existing legacy website and services to modern technologies including MVC and WEB API. I worked within a team to help work towards these goals and worked directly with the IT manager and other departments within the company.

• Bug fixing and maintaining existing website legacy code (VBScript).
• Updated existing legacy charts on stocks, shares and Indices using Web Api 2, C# MemoryCache and 3rd party tool, HighCharts.
• Help integrate provided console applications by modifying C# code to fit with internal error handling and reporting. I Created the frontend JavaScript to consume the Live Data being streamed using 3rd party software LightStreamer.
• Created a service to automatically update and delete client subscriptions through WorldPay payment gateway based on administrative tasks carried out by the administration team.
• Created Administration portal in MVC to administer all new services created, this included updating parameters in individual services; which would automatically restart the service and monitor any errors reported by the services.

Liaised with the client to gain an insight of thier business to gather releavent information to help create a phased plan to implement an e-commerce site. Several design compositions where created for the client to select from to give them the look and feel that they required. I set about creating the base site for phase one, when phase one was completed and live, phase two began. Phase two was completed well within the time constraints laid out, but unfortunately due to the econmic down turn at the time, phase two never reached live status.

Client required a web site to match their current brochures. I created a design composition based on there brochures. Once the design was approved I sliced the images and optimised them for the web. Created the pages using XHTML and coded the pages to WAI-AAA and section 508 compliance.
