About Me
Thank you for taking the time to read more about me. This web site is a collection of my various web skills that I have learnt and will continue to learn on my journey through web design and development. I thank you for taking the time to read more about me, whether for a future employer, for ideas on creating your own site, or help that i can provide.
I have been using markup languages for over 22 years, and programming languages for 19 years. Web design started out as a hobby, as I learnt more about the web and the technologies used I decided I would like to pursue a career in this field. I enquired about furthuring my knowledge and experience in using markup languages and web technologies.
As, I was working I had to find a course that suited my needs. I enquired about courses with colleges and universites, in the end they did not meet my needs, as I had to coninue working to fund the change in career roles. I continued my search for an appropriate course that I could enroll in.
I came across Computech Ltd during a Google search. I enquired further into what Computeach provided as a whole and what they could provide for me. In the end I decided to enroll in a web design course. Studying through Computeach enabled me to continue to work and study the course in my spare time.
After two years and finishing the last exam of three exams in July 2008, I successfully completed the CIW Master Designer certificate.

After many years and a few companies later, I have gained much more experience working on many types of projects. Whether these projects are maintaining legacy projects written in VB.Script to new green field projects in MVC and Entity Framework.
I have been taking a look at Azure DevOps in great depths as this is used in my current employment at the time or writting this update.
We use Azure DevOps for basic use, but has so much more potential by using more of the platforms offerings of CI/CD, automated testing and much more.
Being able to automate specific tasks to ease the burden on developers by allowing them to do what they do best, and that is always a bonus.
